Cherokee, Kansas must have been good to the California Concert Company & the Houdini's. This is the only town where the company came back too a a second time! Once in late 1897 and a couple weeks later in 1898. Performances were at the Walker's Hall Opera House. I believe they stayed at the Vincents Running Hotel. Any information or photos regarding Houdini's stays in Cherokee or of the opera house / hotels would be of great value to the book and research.
