The town of Weir, KS was reaching its population and commercial peak when Houdini and the California Concert Company preformed there in 1898. I am currently looking for information regarding where the company preformed at, either the Bennett Opera House or the Weir City Opera House. I am also trying to determine where the company stayed while in Weir - possibly the Chicago Hotel, Southern Hotel or Dean Hotel. Any information or photos of these places would be invaluable to my research and credited in the book.
